お盆休みもそろそろ終わりですね。
当店も夏の猛烈な忙しさのピークは過ぎたようで、あの８月前半の大盛況に比べると少しはのんびり過ごしています。今年の夏も数多くのお客様にご来店いただきとても嬉しく思います。
さて、当店の夏休みは２０日〜２４日です。
毎年恒例となる夏と正月休み前の、床磨きとワックスがけを先日ガッツリ行いました。（その他にも年に数回はやりますが・・）
規模が大きくない当店は、今のところ業者に頼むこともなく、私一人で黙々とおこないます。
まずは『激落ち君』で床のよごれをゴシゴシ落とし（これが一番重労働）カラーがはねてしまっている所は前のワックスごと削ります。そして水拭き掃除からの掃除機。最後にワックスがけ３回！！
これでザッと２時間強。ヘトヘトになりますが、
やっぱりピッカピカになると気持ちいいです！
お客様には、いつでも清潔で明るい店内でリフレッシュしていただくことを目指しています！！
右のシブいホーロー看板の写真は、物置から見つけ出したものです。
親父に聞くと、私の祖父（初代店主）が約半世紀前（蓮根に来る前）群馬で床屋をしていた時に使っていたものらしいです。
これを見た時は親父の方が、懐かしがって嬉しそうでしたね！
理容師になることを、私にゴリ押ししていた祖父は私が中学生のころに他界しました。
もちろん私が同じ理容師として働いていることも知らないし、三代目として実家にいることも知りません。いまごろ天国で喜んでるかな？！（笑）
祖父と一緒に働くことはありませんでしたが、時をこえてこのホーロー看板が店にあると
・・・なんかホッコリします！
